Group Fitness Classes in

San Diego

 Our small-group training is the most personalized of its kind. We keep our class sizes small, ranging from 4-10 persons per class. While each class has a style or template, we program each class to cater to the members who are attending. We want each and everyone of our members to feel as though we wrote the workout for them individually while also creating a social and motivating environment. Below are just a few of our classes which cover multiple disciplines of fitness.

Meta-Muscle

Our take on metabolic conditioning blended with strength training will have you running, jumping, and riding then lifting, pushing, and pulling weight at a faster, more intense pace than you ever thought you could. Because of the blistering pace and full body emphasis, MetaMuscle will torch fat and have you chiseled in no-time. Our members love this class for the high caloric burn, the challenge, and the sense of accomplishment when completed.

FORGE

Forge is our strength training series of classes. These weight-lifting classes use dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells and various other equipment. Members focus on building strength by performing multi-joint exercises and traditional, effective training principles that have been proven effective by science. Trainers stress a high attention to detail on form and progressive overload for the best gains possible with a lower risk of joint or connective tissue injury. Each FORGE class will have an emphasis on “Push n Press” to work the chest, triceps and shoulders, “Legs for Days” to develop a strong set of glutes, hamstrings, and quadriceps, “Pull” to focus on the posterior chain and increase often weak back muscles, and “Total Body” to get a well-rounded strength training workout.

TRX

Work every muscle using your own body as the resistance. This suspension training class will focus on building balanced strength, core-stability, and muscular endurance. The ease of increasing/decreasing the difficulty of each exercise makes this class suitable for all levels of fitness.

Test. Train. Test. That is what this class is all about. Coach Tom develops a new test every quarter to emphasize muscular endurance, strength, and cardiovascular fitness. Then you spend the next 3 months doing workouts that aim to improve all the different aspects of the test. At the end of the quarter, you will be tested again to see what kind of improvement you saw. This is accountability and the kind of challenge that our members have learned to love.
